Bilal has been a proud resident of Canada since 2000. With a background as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), he has had a diverse career, working in both the Federal Government and the Oil & Gas industry. His roles have spanned over 20 years of professional and leadership experience, during which he has developed a deep understanding of financial management and strategic planning. Bilal has been dedicated to community service since 2013, actively contributing to initiatives that support and empower the Algerian community in Calgary. His multifaceted professional background and commitment to service make him a valuable asset to the board.
Hossam Chenna
Vice President
Hossam moved to Canada in 2005 and has since established a successful career and currently serves as a Supervisor in one of the largest logistics companies in the world, where he leverages his extensive experience of over 23 years to ensure efficient operations. Hossam's commitment to community service started in 2006, and he has been a pivotal figure in numerous projects and programs that benefit the Algerian community in Calgary. His leadership and dedication continue to inspire those around him.

Director, Marketing & Communication
Salem arrived in Canada in 2019 and quickly integrated into the professional landscape with his engineering background. As a Mechanical Assembler in the Oil & Gas industry, he brings over 4 years of specialized experience to his role. Salem has been involved with community service since 2005, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to supporting and uplifting his community. His passion for helping others is evident in his ongoing contributions to the Alliance of Algerians in Calgary Foundation.
Hakim Rabehi
Treasurer and Performance Management Director
Since arriving in Canada in 2014, Hakim has utilized his engineering background to excel as a Sales Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry. With 7 years of professional experience, he has developed a keen understanding of business strategies and client relations. Hakim's involvement with community service began in 2018, and he has since been an active participant in various initiatives aimed at fostering a strong and supportive community for Algerians in Calgary. His dedication to service and his professional expertise make him a valuable asset to the board.
Ridwane Abida
Secretary and Governance Director
As a CPA and Lead Auditor, Ridwane has accumulated 16 years of experience working between the Federal Government, the Oil & Gas, and the logistics industry. His current role involves auditing large international oil and gas companies. Ridwane has a solid background in strategic planning, having completed a two-year Strategic Leadership Program. His journey in community service started in 2018, and he has been committed to making a positive impact ever since. Ridwane's professional expertise and passion for serving others are instrumental in driving the success of the Alliance of Algerians in Calgary Foundation.
